The minor pentatonic scale is the coolest scale ever - it's only five notes but it's behind most of the keyboard and guitar solos you've ever heard. It's formed by simply dropping a couple notes from the minor scale. Playing the Pentatonic makes you sound like a rock star whether you're jamming blues, rock, or just messing around.
